Georgia Grits


Honey and bacon are a great way to turn ordinary grits into a terrific southern-style breakfast.

Ingredients

3 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup quick hominy grits
1 teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
4 slices cooked crisp bacon, chopped

Directions

Stir hominy grits and salt into boiling water. Cover and cook over heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Stir in honey and butter. Sprinkle with chopped bacon. Serves 6.
