Tofu Burgers


Ingredients

16 ounces tofu
2/3 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup scallions, minced
1 teaspoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
4 Tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1 Tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

Cut tofu into slices. Place between two layers of paper towels and pat dry. Change towels several times. Combine tofu with remaining ingredients. Knead for about 3 minutes. Shape into four patties. Heat 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil in a large skillet. Add burgers and brown for 3 minutes on each side until heated through. Can be served on a bun with any combination of the following: lettuce, ketchup, tomato, alfalfa sprouts. Yield: 4 patties.
