Caramel Corn
.jpg)
An old fashioned Halloween treat. Fun to prepare with the children.
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
3/4 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 quarts plain popcorn, popped (3 microwave bags of natural flavor)
Directions
Over medium heat melt the butter then blend in the brown sugar. Add the next 3 ingredients, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Cook uncovered and without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from burner and add baking soda and vanilla. Pour warm mixture over popcorn and toss until coated.
Spread popcorn out on two cookie sheets and bake at 250° for one hour. Every 15 minutes stir the popcorn to keep it from burning. Allow to cool.
