Broiled Scallops

A simple but tasty way to prepare scallops. Perfect to serve with rice and vegetables.

Ingredients

1 pound fresh scallops
3 Tablespoons lime juice
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

Rinse scallops. In a mixing bowl, combine lime juice, oil, honey, soy sauce and ginger. Add scallops and mix until well coated. Cover and chill, 30 minutes to 1 hour, turning occasionally.

Remove scallops from marinade, reserving marinade. Broil a few minutes, turning and basting with reserved marinade. Continue broiling several minutes, until opaque throughout.
