Mohambra


A Lebanese red pepper spread. Use as a dip with toasted pita wedges. A great appetizer for a party.

Ingredients

2 cups roasted red bell peppers
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 small garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

Pita bread, toasted and cut into wedges

Directions

Place roasted peppers in food processor and process until smooth. In a large non-stick skillet heat olive oil over medium heat. Saute remaining ingredients until onions are translucent. Place onion mixture in processor with peppers and process until smooth.

Serve with pita wedges.
